About Manitowoc Ice, Inc.

Manitowoc Ice, Inc. began in 1964 with the goal of providing ice making equipment products that satisfy the needs of their customers and also help their customers reduce operational costs and increase food safety.

Manitowoc created the first line of ice machines with an eye towards a pleasing aesthetic - the Q Series. So not only was the technology cutting edge, but the look of the equipment was also innovative.

Now they have again stepped to the forefront and introduced the Indigo Series of ice machine equipment. With Indigo, Manitowoc has incorporated intelligent diagnostic and monitoring systems into each unit. Their goal with Indigo is to help the user of their equipment improve energy management by being able to pre-set ice production levels for optimum performance and resource conservation. The Indigo system also helps streamline cleaning and maintain ice quality. And the technology of the system also communicates with the customer and technicians regarding service and maintenance.

Manitowoc Ice, Inc has it primary facility in a 360,000 square foot Wisconsin facility. They design and manufacture their ice machine products here each day. The facility produces ice machines, both modular units and undercounter models. They also manufacture ice storage bins, floor standing ice dispensers, and other ice machine accessories.

Today, Manitowoc continues to be on the leading edge of the ice making equipment industry.
